To finalize orders for 2025, one of our clients requested a unique piece for the world of scale models: a custom model of the Renault 21 Etoile.
This is the first 1:18 scale replica of this version of the Renault 21, and it joins the Colombianos de Papel collection by Ddiaz Design, demonstrating once again that there is no vehicle we cannot recreate with a high level of detail and precision.
This particular version is very popular in Colombia, so to create it we had to scan the real vehicle. Combined with reference photos from our client and the Renault 21 2L Turbo model from "The Originals Museum," we were able to create a solid reference base to ensure our design was as accurate as possible in terms of dimensions and features.
The angular shape of these vehicles complements the papercraft design very well, allowing us to recreate each surface on a printed surface with high-quality textures.
The model unfolds into a total of 91 printed parts which, when carefully assembled, result in the model seen in the photographs. With a final length of 24.8 cm, it will be the first design added to the Colombianos de Papel store in 2026.
