2000 Opel Omega - 1:18 Papercraft Replica

We present to you the world's first scale replica of this 2000 Opel Omega.

A model we weren't expecting to see has joined the Colombian Papercraft custom order list. A vehicle widely seen in Spain in the 2000s was requested by one of our clients for a papercraft replica.

Interestingly, the requested version is the one with the fewest references and recreations online; a model and a blueprint are the only references we have for its creation.

Using the design process we've perfected to date, we had to combine the blueprint with the 3D model and four photographs of this vehicle from different angles to create a design that correctly matches every detail, proportion, and measurement of the real car.

After an arduous design process, we were able to create a highly accurate 1:18 scale replica with a very satisfactory final look, featuring movable wheels and a sturdy body, a paper exterior with cardboard and MDF reinforcements. It is delivered in an incredible acrylic case that we designed specifically for the presentation and delivery of each of our custom models.

With this, we add another Opel model to our catalog of high-quality papercraft designs, alongside the Corsa and Astra.

The model has a total length of 27.2 cm and initially unfolds in 92 pieces. It is ready to be adapted and published on the website for download. The physical version is only available in Colombia upon request, and the quality can be seen in the photographs.

We currently have more Opel models on our backlog, including vehicles common in Spain from the 2000s, so more publications with similar replicas will follow.
