2007 Subaru Impreza - 1:18 Papercraft Replica

We've received a request from a frequent customer to create a design we really liked, a car with a unique look whose presence takes our collection of Colombian cars to a new level. We've received an order for a 2007 Subaru Impreza in 2025.

This Subaru has become an iconic model for the brand over the years, and for many, this version was the one that made us fall in love with the Impreza model. Its aggressive lines and numerous design details made this car a new challenge for Ddiaz Design.

This model is part of the Colombians de Papel collection, which means that a domestic customer who owns or owned the car wants to create a custom replica. 1:18 is the standard scale for these models. Because of this, we had to dedicate a significant amount of time to creating every detail, keeping the model's size in mind. The most important thing when recreating an Impreza is capturing its small details and fine lines.

As can be seen in the photographs, the number of pieces created to achieve the car's silhouette was high, a total of 119, placing the Impreza in the Top 5 1:18 models with the highest number of parts.

Assembling the Impreza is a challenge that requires patience and precision. Each tab must be meticulously arranged and glued with great care. Due to the scale of this design, some pieces are thin, which can make them somewhat difficult to handle when gluing. Likewise, a very high-quality print is recommended to highlight each of the small details that make up the model.

A curious feature of this model is that it is one of the first existing replicas of this car in 1:18 scale, joining the list of unique models we have produced worldwide.

It measures 24.8 cm in total, spread over six A4 pages with a total of 119 pieces. It comes in three commercial colors, which were once the most common for this model: Blue, Gray, and Red. It also comes with two sets of wheels: silver and black (the light blue body color will not be available).
